Director of Operations-Nashville

Department: Operations
Location: La Vergne, TN

Title: Director of Operations

Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000 per year

Oversees warehouse departments including but not limited to:

  • Develops and enforces quality and production standards.
  • Handles Operations staffing, training, and functionality.
  • Departmental tooling and material acquisition.
  • Monitors and evaluates Operations output.
  • Ensures OSHA safety and compliance.
  • Oversees determination and acquisition of sub-rented assets, transport needs (local, national & worldwide).
  • Ensures proper usage by warehouse and operations staff of R2 tasks relating to;
    • Confirmed Jobs
    • Sub-rentals – Transfer
  • Ensures the asset maintenance tools within R2.
  • Ensures maintenance of warehouse, vehicles, tools, safety equipment and warehouse/operational assets.
  • Reviews all operations and warehouse purchases and rentals.
  • Coordinates with IT on R2 training and development relating to Operations.
  • Coordinates with inventory team.
  • Develops action inventory policy.
  • Oversees Cycle Counts.
  • Helps improve the utilization and efficiency of staff technicians when in house.
  • Continuously monitors all above with an eye to improve quality, lessen overhead, and build a functioning operations/warehouse team.
  • Collaborates with the other Operation Directors to help formalize and implement efficiencies and cost saving operational procedures for CT.

  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.

Education and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of prior management experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
