Title: Driver

Salary Range: $26-$29 per hour

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking individual to fill our Driver position. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving a company van/light truck to pick-up or deliver equipment and assist current warehouse staff in the staging and checking in of equipment and other general maintenance duties.

• Gets ready for delivery by securing accurate information, such as contact, name of show, and equipment detail.
• Delivers equipment and secures signature of delivery (including to our own staff).
• Performs pick-ups and returns of local sub-rented assets.
  • Requires copy of the CT PO and resolution of all items there-in.
  • Reviews vendor documents against equipment received ensuring cosmetic damages are reflected on paperwork before signing.
  • Reviews all returns of sub-rented assets and secures signature from the vendor ensuring cosmetic damages are recorded and the vendor notified.
• Arrives 15 minutes early for all show deliveries.
• Ensures all company vehicles; including but not limited to cargo van, the 18’, 24’, and 26’ bobtails are maintained regularly and updates service logs for each vehicle.
  • Checks fluids and air pressure daily
  • Secures monthly service, as needed.
  • Schedules maintenance, tune-ups, smog checks, etc.
• Ensures cleanliness of all vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• 1 to 3 years driving experience
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Valid New Jersey or New York driver license.
• Clean driving record including, no Drug and/or Alcohol related offenses in the last 5 years.
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that arise.
• Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.
